Everybody to Malmö!

The countdown has begun. And the aim is set: 20.000 participants from all around Europe to ESF in Malmö 2008 - and a renewed and revitalised forum with a clear goal to create strong alliances and new initiatives to build another Europe.

But to succeed, to achieve a forum with a broad and deep participation from a multitude of social movements, organisations, activists and interested and devoted people who wants to join the struggle for a more just, solidary, democratic and ecologically sustainable Europe - and therefore another world - we need the crucial help from you and your organisation!

Join and help us with the important mobilising efforts for the ESF in Malmö! Put up posters, spread the news about the forum to friends, in your organisation, in your networks, through e-maillists, arrange information meetings, start local mobilising groups - there are a number of ways and oportunities to spread the awareness about the forum and strengthen the participation in Malmö.

We will do all we can to help you with this. Here you can download posters and order mobilising material. You can find a newsletter about the mobilising efforts. There is a special NOC working group devoted to contacts with mobilising efforts around Europe and outside Europe: The Contact group for Europe and the world.

A special focus for the Contact group for Europe and the world is to strengthen the participation from Central- and Eastern Europe and resource poor organisations - which is also an aim for the whole 2008 ESF in Malmö - for example by mobilisation trips and utilising the ESF solidarity fund. Please help us in this effort by supporting the ESF solidarity fund!
