Frequently asked questions about registration for individuals and groups.
Do you want to participate at the European Social Forum? Almost all cultural activities are for free, and you can visit the book stalls without a pass - but if you want to attend to the seminars, you need to pay entrance. For prices check here. On this page you will find some frequently asked questions concerning the registration.
Do I need to register, or can I just show up?
It will be possible to buy your forum pass or daily pass once in Malmö, but its much easier for you and for us if you register and pay online.
Where do I register or buy a forum pass in Malmö?
We have three registration stalls open in Malmö from Wednesday till Sunday. At Baltiska Hallen you can pick up your pre booked and/or prepaid forum pass and get more information about your pre booked accomodation. You are also welcome here to buy a forum pass or a daily pass. Please bring cash (only swedish kronas) if you have not yet paid online. This will make it easier for all of us.
At our smaller registrations stalls at Amiralen and in Rosengård you can buy a forum pass or a daily pass. Unfortunatley we will NOT be able to help you with any pre booked pass or accomodation at these stalls. And please bring cash in Swedish kronas!
When will the registration be open?
The registrations stalls at Baltiska Hallen, Rosengård and Amiralen will be open: Wednesday 13.00-22.00, Thursday 9.00-21.00, Friday 9.00-21.00, Saturday 9.00-13.00 and Sunday 9.00-13.00.
I have registered my organization to the forum, will we get a forum pass?
Yes, each registered organization get one forum pass. We will help you with this at our registration stall in Baltiska Hallen.
I'm organizing a big delegation and would like to get an invoice instead of paying online. What to do?
Please register the group through the ordinariy group registration, but don't pay online. Send an e-mail with your registration code to francisco.contreras@esf2008.org.
I accidentally registered twice!No problems, just send the code relating to the registration you want to cancel to registrations@esf2008.org.
I have already registered and payed for my forum pass. Now I tried to log in and also pay for mass accomodation, but it doesn't work!
That's right, once you've payed its no longer possible to make any changes. If you want to add something, please send us a mail with your code to: registrations@esf2008.org and we'll help you out.
I have registered and payed for a group, can you send us our passes beforehand?
Unfortunately we don't have any possibility to administer this. You will have to come to the registration at Baltiska hallen and get your passes. There will be a special queue for pre-registered groups, where you will also get your program paper and other practical information.
