Do you want to be an integral part of the European Social Forum? We need people who are willing to learn about a newly developed system of interpretation, allowing the ESF conferances to be translated simoulatounsly into many different langauges.
During the European Social Forum more than 500 interpreters will work to make it possible for the participants and speakers to dialogue in the language that gives them the most freedom of expression. In order for this dialogue to work, the ESF has developed ALIS, the Alternative Interpretation System.
Now we're looking for volunteers who want to learn how to use ALIS and help us achieve our goal of ensuring people can communicate in ways that are safe and democratic.
