Description of the outcome
During the course of ESF 2008, we discovered that not only was there a need for a free information infrastructure, but also much knowledge and a great interest in Free Software. As a first step towards providing all social movements with a complete set of free tools, we established a working group for Free Software in Sweden on the OpenESF platform, aiming to survey and document the Free Software landscape in Swedish organisations and public institutions. The result of this work will be presented at FSCONS, a conference on Free Culture and Free Software that takes place on October 24-26 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
