In the name of the organisations who participated to the 2 seminars about Caucasus with the presence of activists from both North and South Caucasus,

We pronounce ourselves in favor of the guarantee of the citizen rights of the Republiques of Caucasus.We have observed that the main threats to these rights derive from the imperialist interests of major powers around the world. We consider that the demilitarization of the region the adoption of urgent mesures in order to bring a pacific settlement to the conflict between Georgia and Russia are crucial.
This settlement must include the return of refugees in Abkhazia and South Ossetia, the respect of constitutional and democratic rights of alla citizens in these republics as well as the recognition of their right to independence.
