How to propose programe activities

In order to take part and propose program activities, please use the following procedure:

1. Register as ESF participating organization.

2. Fill in the program proposal form.

Registration of program proposals will be open until June 5.

Please make sure to fill in all the required information. We strongly encourage and recommend organizations, networks and movements to cooperate and make joint program proposals (see Merging process)!

Please also read about the overall Focus on alliance building, mobilizations and actions for ESF 2008 and the aims to make the forum more participatory, with diverse participation from different sectors and parts of Europe, with special emphasis on Eastern Europe, grassroots, resource poor sectors and women inclusion (see Making the forum more participatory and diverse).

After sending the correctly filled-in form a confirmation e-mail with further information and instructions will be send to your contact e-mail address(es).

Please note that the building of the program for the ESF is a process. After submitting your proposal, you get a login and can access your information  to edit it. This means that you do not need to know all the information when you submit your proposal the first time, since you can update it later as your proposal evolves, or you find new partners through the merging process.

Payment is done after the merging process has finished and your proposal has been allotted a room. For information about costs, see here.
 
Note: Although we encourage people to integrate cultural features in the program activities, cultural events as such are not the prime responsibility of the Nordic Organizing Committee and the European program group. This part of the ESF program is instead facilitated by the culture group of the Nordic Organizing Committee. Please refer further questions on cultural events to them.
