This is how it's done!
As participant in an organisation participating at the ESF you can:
1. Publish outcomes and new initiatives!
You have met with various people from various organisations and this has been fruitful… The outcome of your networking can be a decision, a statement, a call, a proposal, an initiative – whatever you and your group of organisations deems useful and wish to make outreach about…
* Make a draft of your outcome on the paper Outcome-form. The form is included in the printed program on page 59 and will also be available at all the seminar-, workshop or assembly venues, in Baltiska hallen and at the ESF media-center. Write clearly! (see below).
* As soon as you can enter your draft paper forms into the online Outcome webform. By this you ensure that your outcome will be accessible at the ESF website after the forum. If you need help, don’t hesitate to contact ESF media-center. (Important: you need to use the ORG- code received when registering your organisation to create this outcome on the web.).
* For being displayed in Amiralen during the closing session online registration of outcomes needs to be done before 12 am on Sundat 21st. After this deadline please come directly with your outcome to Amiralen on Sunday 21st from 1 pm!
* If you think you won’t have time to register your outcome online before coming back home, you can hand in your filled in paper Outcome form to any ESF room coordinator present at all the venues for seminars, workshops and assemblies. (You will then get a confirmation and scanned copy of your outcome by e-mail.)
* All outcomes registered online or handed in to the ESF room coordinators will be displayed in A3 format on poster boards at the outcome display point in Baltiska hallen during the forum days – and in Amiralen during the closing session on Sunday (see below). It will also be possible to fill in and register your outcome last minute in Amiralen during the closing session on Sunday 21st from 1 pm.
2. Promote your outcomes and initiatives during the ESF and at the ESF closing session!
During the forum days all registered outcomes, proposals and new initiatives will be displayed as they are being registered, on special outcome poster boards in Baltiska hallen, and possible another display point. Support forms will be attached next to the outcomes, for collecting support and interest for your outcome. Come to Baltiska hallen and help promoting your outcome actively!
* You may also use the Support form to gather support and interest for you outcome during program activities. You can use the Support form to circulate together with your outcome. You can hand in filled in Support forms together with your Outcome form, either to the ESF room coordinators at all the seminar, workshop or assembly venues, or at the ESF media-center. The filled Support forms will then be displayed together with your outcome in Baltiska hallen.
* The Support form will be available at all seminar-, workshop or assembly venues, in Baltiska hallen, Amiralen during the closing session, the ESF media-center and on the website for download.
The closing session in Amiralen/Stora scenen on Sunday from 1.30 - 4 pm will be a great opportunity to promote new initiatives! No long speeches! Your outcomes will be the primary fuel for this session – and part of the diversity and dynamics of the ESF process.
* Delegate people representing your outcome or initiative to present and promote it during the ESF closing session! Don’t forget to fill in and return the outcome form (see above)! Please feel free to put further questions to the ESF outcome team (outcome@esf2008.org) or visit openesf.net/projects/esf2008docnoc/project-home.
* As outcome promoter you are expected from around 1 pm outside of Amiralen on Sunday 21st, to be given your poster board or display table and your A3 format outcome (see above) and to locate yourself to the thematical area your outcome is related to. The actual event in Amiralen is intended to start at 2 pm sharp.
* Blank Support forms will be available to be put next to your outcome to collect contacts of participants interested by your outcome/proposal/initiative
* You are of course both welcome and encouraged to add more information, documents on your poster board to personalize your outcome presentations!
