August Palm
On November 6th 1881 August Palm held his first speech in Sweden after a longer stay abroad. In a hotel in Stockholm he spoke under the heading of “What do the Social Democrats want” This was the beginning of the organization work that should lead to the founding of a Socialistic Labour Party in Sweden. We will put the speech of August Palm in its proper context, revealing the sometimes controversial standpoints made by Palm in the Swedish working-class movement. Taking part: Lars Berggren and Roger Johansson
