Community Development as a Vehicle for Social Cohesion: from Exclusion to Participation and Democracy
During the seminar, The European Combined Bureau for Social Development (CEBSD) will provide a introduction to the concept of Community Development and exchange ideas and proposals with other organisations, especially from Eastern and Central European countries, with respect to the participation of all the members of communities in the social, cultural, economical and political life of their town, cities, regions, countries. The basis will be the "Budapest Declaration" which is a document approved within the CEBSD which gathers the principles and the practices, as well the expected impact, of Community Development.
