Free Trade, Feminism and the Lisbon Treaty: the fight for women's economic rights
An interactive discussion with women's organisations from Europe and beyond, on how EU neo-liberal policies shape women's economic rights and feminism. We will focus on (a)the new 'Global Europe' trade strategy and how it particularly affects women (b)how the same neo-liberal approach of Lisbon Treaty has disadvantaged women within Europe. The seminar aims to stimulate debate and collective action.
