CONTENTS AND VALUES OF THE EDUCATION WE WANT, AGAINST UTILITARISM: HOW TO BUILD KNOWLEDGE FOR LIFE
The utilitarian approach to education, which is getting more and more common both at a European and international level, means that knowledge is increasingly bent to the needs of the labour market. The aim of this seminar is to discuss models, educational practices, contents and values that can guarantee everyone lifelong access to the knowledge necessary for the active exercise of citizenship.
