Mobilizing women - experiences from Latinamerica, Middle East and India
The growing participation of women in society affairs opens up for a broad and educative discussion about the necessity to eradicate violence against women, and their exclusion and discrimination. Deep rooted patriarchy, class and caste oppression together with neoliberal globalization constitutes a multiple threat against women’s human rights, as equals, and hinders their participation.
